Lisa is a British artist working in contemporary art glass, her studio is located by the Taihiki River in South Auckland, New Zealand.
Exploring the medium of glass, combining works with mixed media, Lisa's glass making practice focuses on the lost wax casting technique. The process involves making master moulds, often made from found objects, using wax forms to construct her works which become the crystal glass after the kiln firing.
Works explore repetition of form, using deconstruction and reconstruction methods, alternating between complexity and minimal. Concepts and works develop, evolving an existing collection or a new series.
Lisa's works have received multiple awards of critical recognition.
Find her work at Public Record Auckland and New Zealand Glassworks - Te Whare Tūhua O Te Ao in Whanganui. Lisa exhibits regularly in group shows throughout New Zealand and has shown her glass internationally.
